you're probably right. tbh, i'm so over this tired storyline formula. there's always a "more powerful/more dangerous" beast on this show. last season it was Jason Gedrick's Liam Cullen UBER-beast. season 2 it was Sendhil Ramamurthy's Gabe Lowen character, etc.
shareIt is either Kyle, the DHS Agent lady, or they are bringing back a character. I doubt it's anyone new. Either way, it's almost over so all will be revealed soon enough... but the DHS Agent would have more opportunity to complete what happens in episode 10 (already aired in CA, will air on CW this week). Still, Kyle has been slimy since he was introduced... which could be just to throw us off.
shareWouldn't Vincent have been able to sense it if it was Kyle, though? He's always been able to tell when someone else is a beast before, except for when Liam covered up his scent. But for someone as young as Kyle, would that be possible?
Idk, this show's mythology changes rules all the time, so it's hard to make any kind of accurate prediction. I do think Kyle's shady and serves no actual purpose if he's not a bad guy, though.
sarah, i was wondering that too. i was trying to remember if Vince and Kyle had ever even met or been around each other but then i remembered they worked at the same hospital so yeah, Vince most definitely should have been able to sense if Kyle was a beast.

But he is so bland. By now wouldn't we have detected any "beast" in Kyle? A frown, a snarl, a flaming eye now and then to give us a hint? He can't even pull off disgruntled let alone beast.
That's all true. I do think he's shady, but maybe that's just a red herring, meant to throw us off, or else it's just bad acting. The casting for this show is so weird. The main cast are all solid actors, but the vast majority of guest stars are terrible.
