Just dl'd RE3 on PS3....oy ve

OMG HOW did we ever play with those controls?! I almost died by the first 2 zombies outside Jills apartment. Had to remember how we used to play.

Also: It's already 10x scarier than RE5/6. Even with the old crappy graphics on a 55" TV.

Anyone remember having to use the auto-aim button when going into a new camera angle to detect if a monster was close because you couldnt see what you were running into? haha miss this game!

So much of it is the music! Even RE4 had really unsettling music in most places (except the Island). If you're finding it scary now, just wait till old Nemesis starts stalking you! I remember the Hospital and the clock tower scaring me the most in that game, enjoy!

I got to just before Nemesis first enounters you and went to save and "no memory card detected." HUH?! its a PS3.........oh wait, i was supposed to create a PS1 memory block. GDI!

LoL so tonight i'll be retracing steps again. PS Why is there only easy mode and hard mode? Where is the normal?

YES! It's the music! I can still hum the bell toll sound anytime you entered the precinct hall haha

RE3 on a 55" screen...the scariest part has got to be those monstrous pixels..!

i like the meceneries mode when u have to go against two nemesis..too bad it wasnt in the main game...

They're not that hard to use. I much prefer the old games to the post- Code:Veronica era.

That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may die.

yes the pixles are Huuuuuuuuge its almost comical. And just standing still when she breaths and puts her hand on her hip sometimes you see a jump in random triangles. I've tried playing witht he tv settings but it still looks like a foggy dream state. Like a memory hah

It's also sad to me that this old pixlated game, that i've played before and SHOULD know most the jump out scares and hidden zombie spots, STILL is 100x scarier than 5+6 with all their super graphics engine.

Music and atmosphere. Poor Brad though. i always liked him.

I even decided to restart RE0. Graphics are prety good with that on a 55". Imagine RE1-2 remakes should be decent as well, i'm going back in order. Playing 6 has made me want to start over from the beginning, read files, and actually be scared.

Like I always do, I replayed every Resident Evil, except RE5 (can't stand it). I actually like the controls better on the original games more. And yes! Nemesis always scared the crap out of me when he busted in.

I actually think the mercenaries mode on Nemesis is the best, so far. I like looking for survivors and having Nemesis want my body. Enjoy the game! :)

P.S. If you get a headache from the game, just take some SAFSPRIN (remember that?).

YES! I still have my old RE2 guidebook somewhere and remember the eastereggs, like the billboard with the phone number you call and it was somewhere in Manhattan. Probably someones cell phone now. I lovvved saving survivors. Thats my fave parts of these games and why i loved Outbreak so much in spite of its technical drawbacks. They need to redo that for pS3 i say!

nemesis was scary cuz he always showed up when you had NO ammo. And the only way to get amazing gun parts was off his dead body...bah!

Every time Nemesis showed up it was like that YouTube prank scare with the "No No NO!" lol

No problem with the controls. In fact I'd consider this than RE4 up (Except for the graphics of course). And it's much more scarier. And I think it also had the most difficult puzzle ever made in all the RE games (The one near the end if I recall correctly with the water sample and shi*). But that's just me. RE6's puzzles? A 5 yr old can solve it.
