Best Character To Die?

Trick question - they all SUCKED! This is one of Capcom's weakest storyline areas. They think killing any character matters, but if the character sucks ass (Steve, Luis, etc.), nobody cares!

And when a cool character did die (Wesker/RE1 and Ada/RE2), Capcom panicked and brought them back! If they had remained dead, their legend would have been cemented in the RE series long ago. Now, Wesker only REALLY (maybe) died after he was reduced to even more of a cliche...you might say "a shadow of his former self", even... Ada, meanwhile, is now just as one-dimensional as the rest of the characters that keep getting recycled.

They need to grow some balls and make the gamer care. Put Chris, Jill, Leon, Claire, or even Ada (again) on the chopping block. Better yet, have them come back as an enemy that the gamer has to try to save, but ultimately fails and then needs to kill them. Violently. DO IT NOW!

FIN!

For example, in RE5...Chris tried to pull the controller thingy off of Jill but accidently RIPS OUT HER HEART in the process. Blood everywhere...Chris is in a sad/enraged state the rest of the game and completely ignores Sheva. Maybe she dies too (indirectly) as a result of his carelessness. Also, his character model remains bloodstained for the remainder of the game - he literally still has Jill's blood on his hands while he strangles Wesker to death.

The rest of the game could still blow how it did, and these last few hours of play would have completely redeemed the whole thing.

Wesker brought back in CV for story purpose.
Ada wasn't dead in RE2 in first place, she gave Leon RL to destroy MrX.
Steve and Piers deaths had emotion feeling and best moments in entire RE series.

Chris needs to die. He just irritates me now. He should die saving Jill or something.

Luis was such a piece of dog sh!t. There were simply no redeeming qualities about him. He was sleazy and obviously very manipulative. Oh, and a coward. AND not nearly as good of a shot as he pretended to be (pretty sure I killed just about all of the NOT-zombies in that cabin on my own). Capcom basically forced his character in to the game because they don't have the balls to do anything harmful to their "main" characters, and they needed somebody to kill. You could have plugged anybody in to his role (Steve/Carlos?!) and the same garbage would have happened.

My only regret was that Saddler killed him instead of Leon (AKA the gamer), but of course that would have ruined the whole stuipid point that Capcom was going for. Well...I DON'T CARE!

In summary, you suck.

Oh yeah, and the idea that Luis was some kind of researcher is total baloney. Like that fairy-loser could have a shred of scientific/biological knowhow! He just kind of mentioned it offhand (yay he's relevant!) and then never backs it up...or rather, CAPCOM never substantiated it. Ooooh he has a sample though! Blow me.

What is it with you and Luis? You got a big crush on him huh?

When Leon let Luis out of the closet, I guess he accidently left you in there! Feel free to come out any time.
