The guy playing Diaz is too over the top with his voice

Just look at the scene where he's in the backseat of Anatoli's car, every line he delivered sounded so awful, in his slow raspy over the top bad guy voice. Its like he's trying so hard to sound like a big time villain and it comes off cheesy as all hell.
