Just wondering because I didn't talk at all, if I did would that have saved Ryans eye? or would I have got him killed?
I should play it through a 2nd time with different choices, at the party I went with revenge and that felt great, who knows what other things could have happened in the game!
If you talked, then you save Ryan's eye. I saw a playthrough on Youtube and it showed Ryan with an eye patch and I could not figure out how that happened and then it dawned on me that I should have kept my mouth shut. Eye patches are cool.

Yes. If you talk They spare his eye, and stop the torture all together. But it doesn't matter if you talk because everyone in that scene ( the enemies) die and they're base gets destroyed.
So if go a second play through, it okay to talk. Ryan just gets a little upset, And then she apologizes to him. But be carful what you you do in the last part of the game if you make different choices cuz it's possible to get him killed!
