After the first scene I should have shut this terrible movie off. Watching a pregnant woman beaten on her stomach at 9 months but I'm not very squeamish so I went on. Why??? This movie I totally understood with the fantasy killing of Esther and all these dumb twists and turns, so that's not the excuse. I think it was absolute tragedy porn at it's worst. Is this director supposed to be some1 that is known? I just am at a loss here. I usually don't give very low ratings for the fact that if somebody even made a film and got it all put together it at least deserves a 3 ( my opinion) but I had to give this a 1 because there could have been something made entirely different off of the very beginning then where it went. If you absolutely must watch this then just be ready to most likely be disappointed and pissed at urself for sitting through it. I don't see the draw in a film like this and I'm into a lot of crazy movie genres.

Could not disagree more, I thought it was a great movie. By the end of it, everything undefined is made clear (to me). ...but just barely, which is how I like it, so there's a bit to think about.

Not sure what tragedy porn is supposed to be, but that's not the impression I got out of this at all.

I guess this film doesn't connect with everyone but I gave it high marks for being an interesting story told without a tremendous budget or stupid CGI.
