Well for starters Esther was crazy.
Melanie knew Peyton wasn't missing. She walked slowly and calmly back to the car where she knew he was. She was doing it for attention. Just like she lied at the support groups. Didn't you notice her fantasies of being on TV and when she was watching recordings of the news?
Esther had her girlfriend attack her and kill the baby because as Esther said, she loved being pregnant but never wanted to be a mother.
A similar attention-seeking sickness as Melanie.
Why not give birth to the baby and let someone adopt him? Man this was so unnecessary of her. Brutal scene for sure.
shareAdoption doesn't get nearly as much attention as a brutal attack where you loose the baby you supposedly loved and wanted and we're looking forward to/planning for.
