The Tattoo Artist

I'm in the middle of the movie right now. Not too impressed (awful acting, some scenes with hilariously bad lighting and comes across like an incapable homage to DePalma). However, the tattoo artist is fantastic! She's so natural and plays the scene straight, up against a lame caricature of an angry lesbian. I wish she had her own movie. She's insulted for reading a newspaper, then insulted about not remembering details about the article she read, which makes no sense, but she takes it in stride. In fact, the scene is unnecessary - why not just show the girlfriend Googling? But, man, the scene is great. Best part of the movie (so far).
