I kind of had a feeling that John Stamos' character didn't do it, but I never would've expected the daughter.

reply

I didn't think it was John Stamos either, but the daughter was a great twist, I didn't see it coming.

I had my suspicion on her and the best friend. The moment she said the dog only recognize her, john stamos character and the father i was sold it was her. I didn't know why or how but i knew it was her and that the concert would be her alibi.

I could never guess because stupidly I came on here and some threads did not mention spoilers and I saw she did it. My fault.

Yeah, somewhere in the middle of investigating Pastor Drew, I figured it'd probably turn out to be that way. I thought my guess was wrong, though, when the movie was ending and PD was talking about their lives and the case. And then we heard another PoV...lol.

reply

I suspected it early on----because I've seen a lot of movies, and know how they write the plots. I did think it was too abrupt a change in her behavior, however, because she always seemed to love her father so much.

reply

I knew it was her, but that's only because I knew Pastor Drew would be too obvious. I don't know why, but she's the first person I assumed it was.

reply

Halfway through I got the sense it may be the daughter. The closness between her and the paster earlier on got me. I mean if he killed her father why would she be so friendly towards him?

reply

It was a great twist ending. Not too many ppl would see that coming. Understandably she would have anger towards him even though they supposedly had a good relationship. How can a man like that love his daughter? To love her would require him to not hurt her mother. And especially after the part where she said that he had promised her that he wouldnt hurt her mom anymore (when they were talking about him coming back home). I guess that's why she did it...

Good analysis.

It took you that long?

I knew with the Kitten speech.. "thank god the kittens were safe and warm"

I figured out about halfway through it had to be her. It was way to obvious and the movie would've seemed pointless if it was Pastor Drew, so then the people most likely to have killed the dad after finding the mom were the daughter or the friend. It was obvious that the pastor helped hide the evidence, so it seemed most likely that it was the daughter - I couldn't imagine the friend calling him for help.
