I miss Rhys Ifans as Mycroft

He was an absolute delight in the role, and that sinful voice of his... Goodness! I really liked how he and Sherlock played off each other, they really did seem like bickering brothers. His final two eps, where both he and Sherlock are attempting to rescue Joan and Sherlock is an absolute emotional mess still remains my favorite episodes of the whole series.

I do so hope we'll get to see him again, at least once more, before the series inevitably ends.

I like him as Mycroft as well. It's still odd to me to think that character is played by the same guy that was Hugh Grant's flat mate in Notting Hill (which was a great character too).

Oh, I adore him , as well! He reminds me so much of another British actor, David Warner.

An intellectual carrot , the mind boggles

Oh my god, YES!!!!!

I enjoyed his performance as Mycroft. Would love to see Sherlock, Mycroft, and Morland together in an episode.

I miss him also and as much as I love Elementary one thing that frustrates me about the show is how they bring major characters in with ongoing story lines and then abandon them. They have done that with Mycroft, Morland and Fiona.

In the case of Mycroft his story is just hanging out there--the poor man is trapped forever on a Greek Island. You'd think either Sherlock or Morland would try to change that situation by going after the drug cartel that threatens him. He's family...it's not realistic they wouldn't even make the effort. I think when Sherlock joined MI6 they were hinting that he joined for that reason but they never said it directly and then they had Sherlock fired. I don't know if they just couldn't get Rhys Ifans at that time or just didn't want to do more with that story but it was such an abrupt stop. I really hope they bring Mycroft back before the series ends. I know fans didn't like the romance with Watson but that can be addressed and dismissed as she has moved on in her life. Sherlock has also progressed and likely Mycroft is a different man now also. Sherlock really needs to make his promised amends to the brother who gave up his entire life to keep him safe. There is no reason to keep them at odds....

Morland--he's on quite a mission to take down that criminal organization but again, we hear nothing about what is happening with him. I just don't get it.

Fiona was an interesting character but then they just dropped her without even a face to face goodbye from Sherlock. Sheesh...

Moriarty: I know they can't get that actress anymore due to her other committments but her story line was basically over--not ongoing and unresolved like the others..

At least Kitty is coming back for a couple episodes...

The guy was awful. Lucy Liu wouldn't sleep with him in a million years. Good riddance.

Really i thought he was awful as Mycroft. I guess I was the only one. I didnt see the chemistry with Sherlock. Also that awful contrived relationship with Joan i was glad he left.

I know some may get tired of hearing about the other sherlock series. I accept JLM and i think he brings his own unique spin to the role.

But to me Mark Gatis is the much better Mycroft and RI pales in comparison to him.

Tim Curry my all time favorite actor. Would love to marry Elijah Wood & Karl Urban.

If you miss him, well, that makes one of us who does. No way he belonged with Joan Watson.

I just finished the second season of Elementary and I got the feeling that that was all I was going to see of Mycroft. Yes, I loved seeing Rhys Ifans in the role. He's a great actor. I'll miss him!
