I watched two new episodes

I saw last night's two new episodes -- "Wingman" (#5) and "Ancient History" (#6). They weren't half bad, which could also mean they weren't half good, either. I liked the second episode because Martina had several scenes with River Brody, played by Felix Solis, who did the investigative work to find out the information that brought suspicion on the person who actually planned the killing. The writing was better on this episode because it wasn't like she figured everything out on her own; she had help from others, which is more often true to life.

It's too bad the writing on all of the episodes wasn't up to a high enough standard to keep the series on the air, because Janet Montgomery showed more than enough charisma in her scenes.
