How does a show that's so bad it gets yanked after only two eps are aired ever even make it on the air in the first place?

I'm honestly surprised that this show didn't get sent the way of the Wonder Woman pilot last season. At least Wonder Woman was entertainingly bad. This show is just BAD.

In January I believe, a show named "Work It" aired on ABC. After 2 episodes, it was cancelled. It was that bad.

Hardly the first show to get cancelled so quickly. But it could be worse; Dane Cook's sitcom got cancelled before ever airing, with only 4 eps being shot.

No. You didn't miss much. I ranted about how awful it was and got slammed by people here.

One of the things that probably killed it was a particular scene about 5 minutes into the show that had the WORST ACTING I've seen in MANY years. It was when the lead was talking to another female lawyer in the office. EVERYBODY looked uncomfortable and not in sync with each other and they didn't "inhabit the character." I became PAINFULLY aware that I was watching ACTING at that point.

Too many trolls in this board.I like the show.The acting was fine.
This show had better acting then the Middle,But it will be on for years?
