In my opinion, Mia is way better than Maddie.

sharei think they are about equal but i prefer maddie. she is just so cute when she dances whereas mia dances too "mature" for her age. mia is a very good dancer and has good technique and artistry but i just find maddie to be more enjoyable to watch.

Mia has been known on the dance circuit for a long time, she has fans all across the country who were dancers and judges and dance parents, Maddie is a relative new-comer to the spotlight that Mia has grown up in.
Most people are just now "discovering" Mia Diaz, but for those of us on the circuit she's an old favorite, just with a new twist.
And BTW, Mia has just recently wrapped up a nationwide tour with professional dancers, not just competition dancers.
Also remember that this is "reality" TV, there is a lot of heavy handed editing that takes place in the studio long before it is ever seen on TV.

She has great technique and ease if you check out some of her YT vids. I don't care all that much for Victor and Angel's choreo, but the girl's got skills.
