chill out

While the murder does mirror the James Bulger murder, this movie is not claiming to be based on a true story (or maybe I missed it when I was watching). This movie is a completely fictionalized account of two kids who get out of jail after committing a murder when they're young. Even though the murder matches the James Bulger one, this movie isn't trying to be a true story so everyone needs to relax. It's just using the James Bulgar murder as a backdrop for an original story. While I have huge huge issues with that (i don't get why anyone would do that. it's wrong on so so many levels), people need to relax about how different it is from what really happened after the real murderers got released. It's not supposed to be a true story.
