If he's from Italy, why doesn't he have even a slight Italian accent? His father and uncle seemed to have one. IJS...

Are you crazy? He does have an Italian accent. The actor is from Italy and his accent is pretty clear to me. Just because he doesn't speak like Super Mario ordering a large pepperoni slapping his face shouting "Mama Mia" all the time doesn't make him un-Italian.

Yeah. He's clearly a non-native English speaker from Europe. And he's from Italy so it must be an Italian accent... it's really obvious.

He has a very distinct Italian accent, so I don't know how you're hearing a lack of one. The actor didn't even know English, when he started in the role.

Nevermind, I'm beyond episode 1.3 and I hear a slight accent.
