The show was compared wrong and suffered injustice

This was wrong to compare with GOT and to kill it in critics.
GOT is fantasy , with out of the box fan boys who likes the books similar to Star Wars fans or the lord of the rings movie success.
Of course it gathered many other fans but it is very different and I do think Netflix intent was to compete it.
Everyone was expecting the next GOT and killed this great show in critics.
If anything it should have been compared with the Vikings.
It is more like the Vikings. It is also very loosely based on historical tales that most of them were probably fictional from the begging or exadorated and added many more fictional script on top.
But both tries to show , teach and tell how it was like leaving in this cultures those days, and this show is doing it fantasticly.
It is well made with details and structure of cloths leavings traditions....
I like it more than the Vikings by far.
Maybe it is not the best story telling ever and sometimes it feels like there was not enough effort there , but it is just fun to feel this going back in time , I am hypnotized with this.
Do you prefer this or the Vikings better?
