Very disappointed

I am disappointed in the way that the Cindy Williams and Shelley Long characters were portrayed. All of the women over 35 were portrayed as frumpy middle aged women with not much of a life beyond the Strawberry Festival. Their characters were written as very flat and without much substance. I am so disappointed that a Hallmark movie would portray modern middle aged women in such a stereotypical and shallow manner. Both Ms. Williams and Ms. Long tried to bring depth to their characters but apparently weren't given much to work with.

I wanted to see more of Shelley Long in this. She did look quaint the way that she was got up. But this movie is more about young love rather than giving the older characters a chance to shine.
