Sucked

Don't ask . . . was lame as over-done pudding. Avoid, and spend the same amount of time out doors looking a trees.

I wouldn't say it sucks, but it has the same problem as dark skies, sinister, insidious. It starts strong and has some really good moments but completely looses energy in the third act and the ending is just over the top and ruins everything.
Horror is suppose to be subtle.

I though a horror movie is supposed to be scary, not all of them have to be subtle.

Subtlety in the corner of the eye is often scarier then things directly in your face

No capital letters in Sweden?

Horror isn't supposed to be subtle, but that is definitely a good way to go... but it's not a pre-requisite. Sinister was awesome though, it had subtlety of character and was a very good horror crime film.

I have to agree. What's killing me with this movie is how the characters are not responding realistically to situations. When emma is standing there and feels hands on her shoulders and finds out it's not Johnny most people would be freaking out and running for their life. Not to mention the many times Johnny has ghost in his face and really don't freak out at all. They act more scared when the half brother killed the lawyer guy. Also the music, ehh way too dramatic when it really doesn't need to be just because there was a little corner horror moment going on. It could have been a good movie.
