shareThis is really exciting news as I would have hated if Alex would continue as sheriff. I want him to explore Norma's death fully individual and I like him most when he is not in his work mode.

Now I'm thinking about why Romero survived S4 , he , her lover, was supposed to die with Norma, good time to kill this character. And now he's no longer sheriff, so they are sparing his life again....? They've said he's going to suffer a lot in S5, He lost the love of his life, no reason to live , wish Norma will come for him. I've read Alex Romero is Cuse's character, like he's living through him, Ehrin said in an article .
I think this woman will live. She's probably a tough, no nonsense type. I think the only other woman Norman will kill at this point forward will be Marion. Emma would maybe die of her disease, but I'm leaning toward her and Dylan being the only happy ending characters.

shareYeah I'm not sure what to make of this new person. Is she Marion's actual lover?? I know Sam Loomises wife wasn't even a character in Psycho so it's odd that she'd be in Bates.
I am taking the "Norma doppelganger" thing with a grain of salt though. She doesn't really look like Vera so I feel like that headline was just a silly teaser. I remember they did that last year by implying Dr. Edwards was a love interest for Norma and that Rebecca would be a credible Normero threat.
Oh! And I forgot to add that it's not the sheriff who dies in Psycho. It's the private detective that Marion's sister brings on. So it actually would make sense that the new sheriff would live and Alex will die since he'll at this point be trying to bring down Norman as a private person.
oops I did'nt knew about Psycho's private detective, I've always thought about the sheriff..
the new sheriff is more Norma's doppelganger than Loomis. And I think there will be a lesbian thing too, it is a theme in almost all tv series these days ...
