Had the feel of the end of PW forever. Thoughts?

With Harriet giving Gavin up, then putting her house up for sale (presumably to move away); Frannie now visiting her son instead and visually passing the torch to Aisling as she walks away from her son, and Aisling is coming in sadly to begin the next generation's prison visits now; and Frannie's body language of consigning Paul to the dustbin of husband history....it seems to be the end of PW?

And then there was the hapless moronic cheating wife, who was apparently forgiven by her lovely husband--who deserves better than her quite frankly. So their story is over too.

Doesn't it seem like The End? Maybe they ended it that way just in case it was not renewed, so there would be closure.

Hm.

I think there is a risk of it being the end, which I hope is not the case, but I suspect the critical factor will be overseas sales.

It must be so different to the North American prison experience, that possibly the drama is not as thrilling as the shoot em up glamour stuff that sells more readily, so lets hope it is developed, after all if EastEnders and Coronation Street can last for decades and other series keep getting extended -Foyles War, eventually made it, and now there is young Morse and Call the Midwife is getting extended, Prisoners Wives with its truthful realism, is at least as good as all those and has the added advantage of holding up a mirror to many British folk and showing them the corners of society they normally avoid all together.

I am glad the BBC show it at 9 pm on Channel One, Lets hope it soon gets an equally prominent repeat, I might watch again.
