Reactions to this series from the Escobar family

I've read and know that Pablo Escobar's widow Maria along with their children Juan Pablo(now Sebastian Marroquin)and Manuela now live in Argentina with new identities since Pablo's death in 1993. And I did see the documentary "Sins of My Father" along with some of this series and "Narcos" too. But I wonder if the Escobar family has seen this particular "narconovela" along with "Narcos"(Netflix series)and what their reactions are to both series about Pablo Escobar. Would they think both series are over-exaggerated or are exploiting Pablo's memory for entertainment? I guess we'll never know.

Funny way to put it.

"exploiting pablos memory for entertainment"

This show is about his victims, the people he killed are the only ones people should be afraid of "exploiting for entertainment". I guess that's why the lyrics of the shows theme is totally focusing on how Colombia finally could stand up after being so hurt by this sick bastard who held the whole nation hostage for many years. Nowhere do they pay any "respect" to this criminal.

The guy was a monster and when he was killed was the happiest day in decades in Colombia.

The son didn't like neither show (Patron nor Narcos), and seemed offended he hadn't been consulted in the production of this show, but I really don't care. It's important to show the damage he made to the country, wether he was a good or bad father is irrelevant. He was a terrorist just like Bin Ladin or any other mass murderer.

I think his son has made some money off his image. I dont know if he was a consultant for either Narcos or Patron
