Anyone heard whether there will be a second season of the show?

Here's a recent quote from the A.V. Club's Todd Vanderwerff about the likelihood of a second season:

"In a post-session interview with me, Hulu's Andy Forssell, the company's SVP of development, said that he intends to produce another season of Battleground, but no deal yet exists for another season. However, he expects there to be another season, and since the show was often a top-25 show for the site, it would make sense for such a thing to happen."

I really hope they decide to make a second season, especially before all of the primary actors are far off into other projects and can't come back due to scheduling conflicts. If anyone has suggestions on how fans can make this happen, I'd definitely be interested in participating.

I really enjoyed this show - I think Hulu would be smart to make another season. Streaming services original programming has gotten much more commonplace since this aired. I think it would benefit all parties involved to extend the series. Maybe step it up a notch by having the candidate campaigning for a bigger office? Timing would be perfect as well since we are getting ready to head into an election year. Either way, great show, sad they haven't made more.
