my review

sheamus-bryan : extremely disappointing
orton-kane: better then expected and surprised at who won
show-rhodes: ehh not as bad as thought but show is terrible and has ALWAYS BEEN
diva match: predictably terrible but maria gets a pass for bb and afterbuzzz
taker-hhh: cell was barely used why even bother having it though with them being older probably didn't want to risk injury, match itself was great ending was amazing
tag match: was ok, really glad they went with the smart winner
punk-jerico: jercio's taunts were a little cheesy he could have been more inventive, but the match was awesome
rock-cena: great, but was hoping for a certain turn, maybe tonight

all the music and stalling and LAME comedy bits [poor Foley] wasted so much *beep* time that could have been spent on rock cena and sheamus bryan could have gotten a proper match so all that crap

so overall good, could have been better

Hello board,

You may have seen me post on WWE PPV board before. If you haven't, let me introduce myself: I was a huge WWF/E fan from about 1998-2004. Watched every single week. Since then, I typically only watch Wrestlemania and sometimes the Royal Rumble each year.

I was entertained by last night's Wrestlemania. Not the greatest ever, but the three big matches did the trick. Overall, I predicted every winner, except for the Rock/Cena match. For those who didn't like last night's show, would you say that is some kind of indictment on the current state of WWE that the show seemed very predictable?

As for the matches themselves, I thought the Rock/Cena match was good, but perhaps not as "epic" as the hype would lead you to believe. As for what I mean by "epic," see the Rock/Hogan match from WM18.

The match I was most excited for was the Undertaker/HHH match. It met my expectations. However, I have two small nitpicks. It didn't appear they took advantage of the "Hell in a Cell" match setting. Also, while I knew it would happen, and I acknowledge it's all a show, the Undertaker kicking out of EVERYTHING was quite unbelievable.

My closing comment: Looks like they really had to stretch for the "celebrity" match this year!
