Ok, I've played Diablo and Civi since they were both brand new. With Civ, it was stellar until Civ V.
When Civ V came out the critics went wild, and anyone who's played Civ for a long time thought it was a giant smelly turd.
So now I don't trust game critics anymore. Can ANYONE who was burned by Civ V please give me their opinion of Diablo #3?
Well I've liked all the Civ games released, but less and less with each reiteration. As to whether I liked civ 5 much, put it this way, I've hardly played it.
I am playing Diablo 3 now and I must say, I LOVE it! The visuals are excellent, the gameplay smooth and everything is very well polished. But then again I've only played it for a few days so I don't know if there's anything ahead I won't like. I'm actually quite enjoying the storyline.
Overall, I would say yes, I think it is worth it. It was worth the wait and it was worth the $.
Actually I should say, I liked Civ 2 over Civ 1, simply because it was a much improved game.
