D3 on PS3

I just picked it up for the XBox, and I find it nice just not having to log in to Blizzard's fvcking server.


I'm hoping they changed the game play at higher levels though. I hit an impasse in Hell setting on the pc version because I needed to buy tons of items raising resistances. That's when I gave up on the game last year.

yeah the console version is what the pc vesion should have been. The loot system alone is great. You constantly find items that are good for you class, and instead of being lvl 45 and finding a lvl 27 legendary, you will actually get an upgraded version of that same legendary for your level (45) instead of the useless lvl 27 one.

my only problem with the console version (at least the ps3 version) is the way you join games. If you are looking for a certain quest to do, its very hard to get a party.

You basically have to set what quest you want, and take the chance that it will either join a game with people in it, or it will just create a game with you alone (if there isnt anyone doing that exact quest). It doesnt sound bad, but if you are trying to get a party (to play the hardest difficulty quickly and for bonus party exp) for a specific quest, you may constantly end up waiting for like 10 3 minute load screens.

There is an option to join "any quest" or "any difficulty" to heighten your chances. but that doesnt help if you are trying to do a specific quest.

One thing that is gay though, is that if you wanna complete all of the challenges, you need to complete 2 lvl 60 characters of each class. Which is a complete waste of time considering you can change any skills at any time and there are no stat points. So you basically cant specialize.

There is sooooo much cheating too lol. Like ppl doing 500 million dmg n stuff lol. With attack speeds so fast its just a stream of attacks. Unlimited items, unlimited money, etc. lol. it was insane.
