New season......MUCH BETTER

I like the additions and subtractions they've made this season. Lizzie (Sallie Golan) is all but gone. She was bitchy and not all that hot. Jenna (Meg Barrick) is 'fire and brimstone' hot. Rachel (Chasty Ballesteros) is also beautiful and does her sex scenes pretty well. And Megan (Tessa Harnetiaux) while very good looking isn't quite as hot as the others. But then again who cares? Her character seems to have some religious belief against leaving her clothes on for more than 2 minutes at a time. All in all, it's a better show this season.

Your "hotness" rankings might not line up with mine, but that's the cool thing about having such an eclectic bevvy of beauties together in one series. Different strokes, different folks. There's Meg if you like 'em tall and naturally busty. Tessa and Rebecca Blumhagen if you like 'em super cute and slim. Chasty if you like 'em bold and exotic. Nicole Rodenburg if you like 'em with luscious lips and hair straight out of a Botticelli painting. There's no wrong answer -- they're all extremely attractive in their own unique ways!

Even as a big fan of the first season, I agree that Girl's Guide has improved across the board. The new characters (male and female) have established themselves as great additions, played by talented actors who have excellent chemistry with the original cast. The dialogue's still sharply witty and now the plots are more varied in fun ways. And yes, there is all that glorious nudity: more plentiful than in season one and generally not as coy. The show's doing a nice job of meeting its "After Dark" requirements while maintaining the overall quality of a primetime series. I hope they get to carry this momentum through to a third season and beyond!

I miss the camaraderie between Sam & Lizzie this season. I agree Lizzie was bitchy but she's good looking. She is just not as pretty as Sam. The new girls are a nice addition with Jenna being a 10+ and Tessa being a solid 8. Rachel is gorgeous as well but the attitude is a turn off. I hope there is a third season as well but these Skinemax shows are generally designed to go two seasons tops.

Why don't you losers just watch straight up porn, instead of pretending that this dopey show is some sort of clever spin on modern female empowerment. Skinimax served its purpose for jackoffs across the land before the internet, but is now obsolete. Except of course for a few special people.

Hey GoogleSaturn, that's a good point. Skinemax series always stop after two seasons. I forgot about that.
And 'CCR1633' you need Prozac. Or maybe for you....'Gorilla Prozac' like your girlfriend Amy used in "Congo"

I agree with Google Saturn as far as the Sam/Lizzie camaraderie. ....the others are nice additions but Sam and Lizzie had great chemistry. Looks like Lizzie may be back for the season finale (and they are calling it season finale so we shall see)

I don't know. Having watched the entire second season throughout, I must admit I was not as enthused as during the first season. In fact, I had to catch up on a number of episodes via ondemand or marathon replay. I think GoogleSaturn hit the nail on the head in that the show lost much of its charm by writing out Lizzie. Also, there seemed to be a marked change in writing at least to me. I haven't looked close enough to see if was the same writing staff though.

I don't really have a problem, per se, with the new characters; they are all attractive but ultimately, most proved not to be all that interesting and very one-dimensional. Most of the storylines this season were just a little boring for me (cheating English guy, Sam's goofy new love interest, Sam's doofus brother). I will say Jason and Meg had pretty good season character arcs and even Tyler to some extent and his "lumberjack" bf (who was a great addition to the cast imo). I think with Jenna and Meg, they just tried a little too hard to make it like a "Sex and the City", even moreso than season one.

Not to say the first season was perfect by any means (anyone remember the Matrix roleplay, lol!) but all the zaniness was outlandishness was left more to minor/disposable characters and from the situations in which Sam & Lizzie found themselves. I think GS is also right in that these type of shows seem to run their course after two seasons so we'll see what happens.
