This movie would have been better if...

The cookies had been poisoned. That's where I thought it was heading, so, on the other-hand, maybe it's a good thing it didn't.

The most obvious type of security is a panic room, but this family apparently didn't have one. It's kind of silly anyone would think they could fortify an entire house when evil people could just it on fire.
