not in the US

When are they going to show this in the US and I want Sucker Punch 2!

It seems like the type of movie that's very capable of being a big awards contender next year, so it's quite possible they might wait until next awards season. I'm sure they want to give it more of a chance to be nominated and win by releasing it in late Fall or even in December. I hate to wait that long too, but it's not up to me, and I'd like to see it win a few things. Maybe Emily will even be nominated. That would be awesome.

I really hope they show this in Australia! Even if it's just a small cinema, I'll go by myself if I have to lol

Ha! I thought I was the only one who appreciated Sucker Punch!

It has a provisional DVD release date of 26 August. Check with Amazon.co.uk closer to that date. You should be able to pre-order it. Just be sure you have a multi-region or region-free player, or watch on your computer (which you can hook-up to a large flatscreen, so you're not restricted to your laptop!).

I actually can't see anybody who liked "Sucker Punch" liking this very much. Yeah, they both have Emily Browning. She has a lot more full frontal nudity in this, but it's a much less action-packed drama (compared to this, "Sleeping Beauty" is an action-packed drama).

I thought "Sucker Punch" had TOO MUCH action. It is so loud and bombastic that it eventually becomes boring. This though is the kind of movie MOST people would consider boring. People who read literature (as I do occasionally) might appreciate it a little, but people who like bombastic Hollywood fare? I don't know, I don't see it.

How about the rounded people who appreciate a bit of everything?

I enjoy literature and "boring" dramas as well as action-packed movies such as Sucker Punch, so I suppose I should probably see this. :)
