There have been 2 governors since Sara Palin left office in July of 2009. Sean Parnell, governor from July 2009 to December 2014 and Bill Walker, the current governor. Why would Sarah Palin care about the Discovery Channel one way or the other?

I will say Alaska has been a hot topic on reality shows.

Because everyone wants to watch non stop programming about Alaska... especially when 99% of it is fake.
