I hate watching the show knowing it will be cancelled at any time!

ABC really ruined the show by switching it to Friday and not advertising it.
Now I watch the show thinking , should I still be invested on those characters? Those storylines that might see no ends ?
I love the show but that feeling of cancelation leaming over it spoil the fun of watching it.
At least last year the ratings were decent enough and steady but since the move to Fridays, the ratings plummered , they are really low , so low that it do not give us any hope that the show will come back next year or worse that it will have a full season this year.
Feeling sad about this because I really like this cast...

I used to be that way. Now I just enjoy the ride and whatever happens happens.

That said, I'd be amazed if it got a third season. The show reminds me a lot of Better Off Ted and that only got 2 seasons.

Even if it gets cancelled it's gotten a lot more episodes than some new shows.

Thanks Oliver for posting this and to you, dig13 and ALL for watching. I definitely feel your pain. Shooting the Pilot & the entire first season was an amazing and GREAT ride.

It was my pleasure to watch the show tlweisert , You guys did an awesome job and if there was any justice the show would last 4 or 5 more seasons. Also we miss all the other Aliens !!! We need more of you guys! I sure hope that the creators will be given enough time to give the show the closure it deserves.

I just got turned on to this show then got told it was given the move to Friday night of death. At least I get the pleasure of watching it from the beginning and hoping it goes a full second season.

Yeah I'm a few in and the first season seems a little more "aliens cant fit in with humans" with that Third Rock feel. Compared to the three new episodes I've seen which are more "what kind of zany and outlandish situation can we come up with". Although I did laugh heartily when Larry Bird tried to lure the kids to his van with candy. Creepy and funny. Crunny. Or feepy. Whichever's funnier.

The second season smacks of a non-creative network executive sending down notes that read, "Okay, that was good, but now let's really change it to MAKE IT GREAT = and I know JUST WHAT IT NEEDS..."

I read your comment mentioning Monty Python and it made me think perhaps the show needs a British writer. I've seen plenty of British comedy series (as opposed to "sitcoms") that get ahold of something great and keep up the momentum. I don't know why most American series just can't seem to get the idea.

I thought the show had been cancelled. When did it move to Friday nights? I haven't watched an episode since the change.
