Impressed!

Stumbled upon the trailer for this flick a couple days ago on Youtube. Looked interesting enough, so I picked it up from Best Buy yesterday.

Have to say, I was pretty impressed. The plot isn't totally fresh, but it was executed in a way that kept my attention to the end, and I'm glad my hopes for this one went past expectations. Acting was good, loved the cinematography, like I said story not entirely original, but it worked, and there were some twists and turns throughout the film that I thought worked really well, and the filming location really caught my interest.

No, I am not a member of the cast or crew trying to promote the film. Just a simple fan spreading the word of a cool indie piece of work worth checking out. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I agree. Plus the blonde got me harder than a cinder block, so that's good too.

Definitely agree with you there. She reminded me a little of Erika Christensen from Swimfan, Parenthood, The Perfect Score, etc.

Well at least it was better than most of the recent released Horror/Thriller flicks, that's for sure.

I finally saw it on PPV and I liked it. If you go into the film knowing it's an indie movie you'll get a better appreciation of it. Enjoyed seeing Emilie Ullerup in the movie. Wished she had more projects, she's great. The story moves along at a good pace but there are a couple of bumps. Nice plot twist at the end..makes you wonder if they may try a sequel down the road.

I have to say it, my thoughts during the entire movie were on the visible efforts that Julia Benson (Kennedy) did last years before the shooting to improve her... physical.
Nose job -not a good one, but there it is-, boobs job -we can assume it is a good one-, but maybe she should take some acting classes.
And... let me be mean... get some better shampoo. IMHO.

Julia Benson had the same big boobs in SGU ( http://imgur.com/gallery/Cuild ) and Right to die, and all actresses use clothing that put them in valor. Nose job? Again in SGU seems to have the same nose, so if surgery was done it was before 2007.
I actually liked very much her acting here, a center character full of life and having realistic face reactions to what happens.

Anyone using this disclaimer in their post was absolutely involved in the production.

Anyways, this was complete sh-t.

So ... the creepy mountain guy was the killer? Or the blonde? Or she hired the mountain guy?

I think Bo, the caretaker, was intended to be the killer. In other words, he was planning on doing it but then Emily got to them first.

Never do something permanently foolish just because you are temporarily upset!

Me too. Is it fantastic? No. But for a movie made with a very small cast and crew (some of which doing both) I think they did a good job.
