Did anybody see this tonight?

I thought it was very interesting. I also found it very sad. Accountability. I think a show like this can help people in all walks of life to some degree.

Yeah, I watched it. Was minorly disappointed compared to some of the other great 30 for 30 films. It seemed like it was copying the "Scared Straight" technique they used to use on juvenile criminals to deter them from a life of crime. Herm Edwards was the main culprit. The problem being, everyone has a chance to turn to crime as they enter adulthood, but very few can say they had supreme athletic ability to acquire way more cash than they need at age 22 and blow it all. So while I appreciated all the honesty these ex-jocks showed, I still had a hard time feeling sorry for them.

I missed it when it was originally broadcast but I was finally able to catch it tonight. I wanted to feel sorry for these guys but so many of them were apparently clueless when it comes to the most basic financial knowledge. On the other hand this film certainly serves as a cautionary tale for any and all promising young athletes who are in need for a wake up call about their future.
