Missing something in-between episodes

This is an amazing series and I'm so happy I found English subtitles for it... but I want to know if anyone else feels like they missed something in-between each episode? It's the way the episodes end and then at the beginning of the following episode it doesn't seem to pick up where the previous one left off. It feels like something's missing. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

I don't feel like I've noticed this, I'm trying to recall whether there was a digest of the last episode at the beginning of the most recent episode aired, and if there wasn't maybe you've forgotten some details, and so it feels like you've missed something you've just forgotten?

I'm really enjoying the series, and am surprised that there aren't more posts in the message board.
