"Worst movie in movie history!"

Hardly... Uwe Boll and M. Knight Shyamalan movies take that particular claim to fame.

Agree 100% this is by far beyond garbage can't rate -100s in imdb ;(

reply

You certainly didn't provide much support for that claim. If it's the worst movie ever, I think you'd be able to name at least one reason why it was a below average film.

reply

It was by no means the worst (try Bridesmaids) but certainly wasn't good.

If it wasn't for the saucy next-door neighbour then I would've turned off this snoozefest early doors.

Two for flinching!

reply

Haha totally. Until the husband came back and JUST KNEW she found out about him I thought the movie was building up well and the actress was great. But from then to the end it was just horrible. Very cheesy. Nothing occurs. REally stupid pointless movie.

reply

He didn't "just know", she had been through his trophies and he could tell. He killed the woman from the diner, took a trophy and, when he went to put it with the others, he discovered she'd found his "secret hiding place in the garage".

My problem with the movie is that she discovers her husband is a serial killer, but, instead of calling the police, she tranqs herself and passes out. And then she makes hime make "the most solemn promise" that he won't do it anymore and then goes about her life. C'mon, really?

Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something.

He couldn't have killed the woman in the diner; she would have been victim 13. The body count at the end of the movie was still 12 as it was at the beginning. The last victim had to have been the woman he got the earrings from that he gave to his wife as an anniversary gift.

reply

It wouldn't be the first time the killer killed more than the cops knew about.

reply

True!

And if you'll remember the scene in the garage where she first discovered his 'memorabilia,' it was several I.D.'s in the small box that had been a gift from his daughter that alarmed her. Does that mean he had other victims he never taunted the police with ?

And it was the internet search and the final victim with the earrings that cinched her suspicions. And when the confrontation occurred where she demanded he stop, a condition was that he bury that victim's I.D. instead of sending it to the police. That was #12. So, that raises the question of why she was a victim attributed to 'Beadie' if the I.D. was never sent to begin with. So, did I miss something or is this a plot hole ?

And finally, if you'll remember the telephone conversation after her discovery, while he was on his business trip,it was replete with discomfort on her part which he sensed.

So, next we see him stalking the victim from the diner and then suddenly arriving back home, unexpectedly in the middle of the night. And during the terse phone conversation we see him volunteering to turn around and do just that but the wife declines. And when he hung up the phone after that conversation,he looked clearly disturbed.

So, all this suggestive, circumstantial evidence leads me to conclude he never murdered the woman from the diner.

You have obviously not seen many movies....

I get that you didn't find this movie very stimulating.

To each their own....
