House exterior looked like Amityvelle horror house
Did anyone else notice the exterior of the house was similar to The Amityville Horror house?

shareExactly what I thought. You don't see windows like that often.
shareGlad someone else thought the same thing I did
shareThat style is pretty common in the northeast, I have seen a lot of them in in older neighborhoods in Connecticut, as well as Long Island's north Shore and the South Shore near the Amityville area
shareColonials in the Northeast aren't all that rare.
Life is pain. Anyone who says differently is selling something.
Dutch Colonial. My favorite style. NY was originally settled by many Dutch people (It was originally called New Amsterdam) so it is somewhat common here. Luckily not overly so.
shareThanks for the info. Being from Australia I only remember the style from The Amityville Horror book, documentaries and movie.
