The two trailers I seen for this movie were amazing, and I loving to see that Sarah Butler is in this. Apparently the film was shown at the Berlin Film Festival yesterday, so I am anticipating a review from someone. This movie looks so great but man there is little to no information about it, hope a DVD release date is announced very soon.
"Gee another movie with rape wow she must love these kind of movies instead of doing these why don't she just because a whore instead ."
So for you women who've been raped are whores ? That tells a lot about your life. That and the fact that you write "because" instead of "become". That tells a lot about your brain.
Sarah's character turns out to be just a crazy jealous woman who was in love with Baldwin's character (ugh) who was just using/manipulating her into killing his wife Estella's character, but Estella kills Sarah in self defense. Baldwin then paints Estella as a crazy person, she goes to jail and he gets away with her money. Really dumb ending.
I would have been okay with the ending if only Estella really went nuts and killed Baldwin as well.
Don't try to cash in love, that check will always bounce.
This movie should have been better. It has a good cast, William Baldwin & Sarah Butler are usually in other movies worth a watch, not so much in this one. The plot/storyline had promise (albeit it is similar to ones that have been done before like What lies Beneath and Fatal Attraction) but the script, acting (though this could have been a result of a poor script, as Sarah Butler played an exceptional part in I Spit On Your Grave) and oh dear lord the end....all let it down! There are also quite a few loose ends that don't seem to go anywhere or get explained. I persevered with it, due to the Actors who were in it, told myself that it must get better....and as the movie nears the end it does pick up a little and peaks your interest, but then the ending comes and just ruins the movie all over again. So....while it may resemble the above mentioned movies, it is nowhere near as good as them. All in all, I'd say its worth a watch out of intrigue, but don't be surprised if the end irritates you.
The whole movie irritated me, it has no idea where it's going or why. It has a jumbled up plot that makes no sense, cringeworthy acting, except maybe for Baldwin who only phones it in, and it slaps you with a weak and convoluted ending.
You're left wondering why you even watched it to begin with.
