I did indeed watch the movie. Could have sworn she and the other "rangers" were armed and enforcing the law. I'll take another look. As for train7337's comment below re: an Aussie (or Kiwi or other foreigner) working as LE in the U.S. - are we talking about an immigrant, an exchange program, something else? I know of no (major) law enforcement agency that is going to hire a foreign citizen as a line officer. What are the details on the 60 Minutes piece?
Update - Screened the relevant section, lo and behold - three armed "rangers" are enforcing the law vis a vis the jumpers (i.e. arresting them) and Danica pulls a...wait for it....wait for it.....handgun as part of the process! So much for being just a storytelling guide. I should ask if you watched the movie, but that would be rude. Maybe I saw the "unrated" cut...naaah.
I did note when Danica indicated that she was from the U.S. (During the discussion about the TD's bite - what I call the "Can't you see my boobs are colossally bigger than yours as I thrust them into your face" exchange with the Australian girl.)
