I don't mind the wait. Everything says discussions or some form of confirmation. It seems that they've given the okay, but since it's still being written they haven't given official dates. the author is also in works with Channel 4 for the U.K. remake, so they're probably both allowing him time for a quality product and for the remake release which could boost popularity and demand for the original product.
