Is There A Lot of Action and Shooting In This Movie?

Okay I have to admit that I haven't watched this one although it's released 3 years ago. Is this movie action-packed with lots of adrenaline-rush of shooting and fighting? Or it's a story-telling of Kyle's life with minimal action?
