Whether you're in a cockpit dropping nukes or in front of a video screen

APOCALYPSE NOW !

The writer for the first review asks: "But this film raises moral questions about how we fight Al-Qaeda that did not exist when we fought our enemies of the past. Push button warfare. How much "collateral damage" is acceptable? Is it acceptable at all? Is there a point of depreciating returns where we become as bad; or even worse than our enemies?"

Kid, World war 1 had poison gas that killed the soldiers in their trenches. World War 2 nuked the hell out of Japan. And I suppose you could call the 6 million Jews and others who died in the German concentration camps collateral victims. In Vietnam Major Calley and his men slaughtered an entire village called My Lai and later reports claimed not one of those killed was old enough to be a soldier. see: http://www.historylearningsite.co.uk/my_lai_massacre.htm

This film tells students of history nothing new. It's the same old story about war and glory and the death of innocents. As Country Joe and the Fish once sang:

Well, come on Wall Street, don't move slow,
Why man, this is war au-go-go.
There's plenty good money to be made
By supplying the Army with the tools of the trade,
Just hope and pray that if they drop the bomb,
They drop it on the Viet Cong.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for ?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Vietnam.
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

Well, come on mothers throughout the land,
Pack your boys off to Vietnam.
Come on fathers, don't hesitate,
Send 'em off before it's too late.
Be the first one on your block
To have your boy come home in a box.

Tell me, C_I_P_Pride, does this as "strictly logical standpoint" tells you about darker side of human nature, when technology combined with absolute power, corrupts the very core of human essence :

I don't like terrorism as any other reasonable fellow, nor I would like to generalize things, but in this world, every coin has two sides of truth.

by C_I_P_PrideĀ» From a strictly logical standpoint, taking out 12 possible non combatants which include two small kids and a baby is an acceptable risk,

The very core of human essence is corruption.

Not all human beings are inherently evil.

I'm not sure if you actually tried to write that in English, but you should probably be aware that it's completely incomprehensible.
