Honest review

Its not that bad, but I couldn't rate it any higher than a 6/10. I believe the ratings will probably level off on this one to about a 5.5/10 once the real reviews start coming in. It's definitely not a 7+ movie, nor even a 6+(unless it doesn't get a wide release) so I wouldn't rush out and buy it unless you really love indie slashers.

The acting was good, but a little off at times.

The production and story were okay for an indie, but not as original as some are saying and the twist at the end was not only forced and out of character, but too rushed in my opinion.

Still, it was an okay film if you like indie horror and can forgive a few shortcomings

I agree with most of what you wrote and also just posted my own review. I'm sure some of the filmmakers and people involved did leave some of their own reviews, but they should. I would too.

I usually get more out of reading the critic reviews as I know they would be completely unbiased. Most critics here seem to speak pretty highly of the movie, so I wanted to check it out.

I did get to see it on VOD and wanted to then chime in after seeing some of these posts. It's too bad that some people write hate messages and rate movies 1s just to be mean.

It does seem that people leaving negative comments all share the same common thread about only watching a few minutes then turning it off. It's too bad they won't get to see what the movie is really about.

Are you saying I am bashing your movie ? I gave it a 6/10 and I am bashing it? You do realize that by me being honest I have actually helped you, right?

Same here. I rarely trust reviews here because I am usually one of the first viewers and there is always either no info or family/actors/directors/shills.

Also, you will find in the long run imdb reviewers are much nicer when people don't shill their own films. When people have friends and cast members overrate their films it'll give them a good review at first, but in the long run, when it gets a wider release or people start spending money expecting a 7.4/10 film, it'll work against the film's rating.

You'll also have screaming trolls all over the comment section enacting their own form of justice. All of which in the end will effectively kill the high rating as the promoters of this film will soon find out. I have seen it happen too many times.

And personally, I couldn't care less if people shill though because it always works itself out. Unfortunately, I have seen good, excuse me great films go almost totally unnoticed with low ratings for actors/directors/whoever shilling which is why I usually just ignore it and rate it as I feel it should be.
