Im sitting here, still watching beyond the point that I would normally turn it off, waiting to see what all these fake reviews saw.

I just saw your comment in regard to CUT! and was happy to see that you followed it up with the 2nd. We have been thrilled to receive so many positive reviews and I assure you that they are all very real. The reviews are not all super-positive, but the majority of critics so far have enjoyed the movie.
We sent out over 70 requested screeners to the critics and their reviews have been slowly coming back. The positive response has been overwhelming and we are very happy over the warm reception.
I don't think anyone knows what to expect when they first watch CUT! but that was the intention. The movie is full of clues all the way through and it's a totally different experience the 2nd time around. I appreciate you giving the time to see it all the way through and also taking time to leave feedback. It is much appreciated.

Maybe someone at the distribution company went over your head JTS_Antilles, but regardless of how good the movie is - we recognize fake/planted reviews and comments when we see them.
shareI think you really must be a doofus and just a hater. I checked out some of the reviews after reading this and they are all from reviewers who have been reviewing for years from sites that have been around for a long time. It's sad that you want to hate just to hate and post something that you have no real knowledge about. I saw the movie a few days ago and it's quite good. I don't think that it's a 10 for everyone, but it's definitely at least a 7.

You say it's a 7 now, but a quick look at the imdb review page shows that both you and JTS_Antilles, who says he directed the movie, gave it a 10 and yet there are no fake reviews? My favorite line is it being named one of the "TOP 5 Horror Films of the Year" on a website that doesn't exist.
shareI did give cut a 10 because I loved it. It's super smart. My comment about a 7 is where I think most people who come across the movie will feel that it falls, especially if they are just looking at it as a horror film, which it is not. The movie is probably too smart for what the average horror film person is looking to see as many are only concerned about seeing blood and guts.

shareThey could also be friends of the director, producer, actor, and so on. The reviews do seem very fake, they don't even describe the movie. All it is saying is, "breath taken","must watch", "best horror", neither is in depth of the movie. I can say "yummy", "best dish served", "homemade delight", and I could be talking about a plate of brown chocolate that you normally see when you're sitting on the toilet for a few minutes after having a big ass burrito at Chipotle.
shareSweet, you're the real deal. Clever work on this film maestro. The one comment that kept me watching was the one of the guy who claimed he studied film under you. Then, I put myself in his shoes, as if, I was watching my film professor conducting an entire cast of a horror film. That enhanced the experience a lot more. I'm no film buff, just a musician, but I'm actually writing a background novel to compliment my album. Seems lame, but I really think my music makes for great reading, or even, dramatic film.

Yup. $200 for every fake review I post that looks convincing enough. Except for this one, this review was genuine.
