Big hole in show is Nat Faxon

I've watched each episode of this show so far, and if it were on CBS, ABC, or NBC, especially, I doubt it would last. However, since it's on Fox, it might last a while. The show has many charms, including the premise, writing, and most of the cast. The big hole in the show, unfortunately, is the actor playing one of the main characters. Nat Faxon as Ben is not funny, and certainly shouldn't be given free reign to improvise and riff to the extent that he does. The character (so far) doesn't have enough redeeming qualities to be played by an actor without the looks or the chops, acting or comic, to pull it off and make him more sympathetic. His teeth are a big distraction. I don't think every actor's teeth should look perfect and pearly, but, seriously, when his mouth is open (which is most of the time), I can't look at anything else or listen to anything that's happening.

Wow, I am shocked to see anyone say this, I think he is by far the best thing about the show. He is a very funny actor and a huge amount of the charm of the show rests on him.

I really like this show, I think it is getting stronger as it goes. But it is on at 8:30 with the absolutely awful Raising Hope as its lead-in, so I am not sure it can last. The main 4 actors are excellent though.

I REALLY like him. So much so that I'm now watching him in 'Married.' He's funny. He's cute in an off-beat, boyish way.
