mini-series or series???

will this only be the six episodes, or is this planed to be a series with multiple seasons?

thanks

If the ratings are good there will be another season.

It's a full-blown TV show with multiple seasons.

Have you ever seen a human heart? It looks like a FIST wrapped in BLOOD!

it says 3 week event, so is each episode 2hrs to make 6?

reply

It's getting aired in December, with two episodes shown a week. That usually denotes the network has no faith in the product.

I'm guessing mini-series...

I was just about to say this exact same thing. This show is obviously getting burned. All episodes aired as close together as possible within the one of the deadest months of television is a sure sign of that.

"Gentlemen. You can't fight in here. This is the War Room!"

reply

Yup. It's basically "let's get rid if this crap as quickly as possible during a period where ratings aren't important".

reply

It does seem that way but if they are just trying to burn these episodes off why are they advertising the show so much? They seem to be spending quite a lot of money advertising a show they just want to burn off.

reply

I was wondering that too.

Its basically same way as walking dead was. 1st season is 6episodes if it gets picked up for another season then they will do a big one, if not then not much lost with 6 episodes

So far it's beginning to look like a mini series version of Gangster Squad, which I really liked. Lot of the same characters and bad guys.

reply

I see it getting picked up for another season. Obviously there's a lot of high quality actors, and the noir genre is getting quite popular(Gangster Squad, Bonnie and Clyde, etc). Like an earlier poster mentioned, 'The Walking Dead' was only six episodes in the first season, but now has a high rating.

I think the worst thing this show has going for it, is the network that it's on. I'm not a fan of any TNT series. But, hopefully with the star power, and the heavy promotion it's been given, it will catch on. Been waiting to long for Robert Knepper to get a role equal to his Bagwell role for it to get cancelled after one season.

Mini-series. The ads have made that clear.
