Kroy's family - Now we know!

I've been wondering why Kim and Kroy spent the holidays alone last Thanksgiving and didn't visit Kroy's family. It was interesting to hear Kroy talk about why he doesn't see his family when they were sitting around the campfire. I still wonder exactly what made him stop talking to them. Did they criticize Kim just once or were they actually trying to break up the marriage? I just find it odd that Kroy stopped speaking to his family at exactly the same time as Kim stopped speaking to hers. It should take something pretty drastic to make a person stop speaking to their family. I have a hard time believing that Kroy would have ever done that without Kim's influence. I have a feeling that once Kim's spell wears off, it's a decision Kroy will live to regret.

Stopping family contact isn't always sudden. I have it with my family and its a build up of lots of things. Some people are toxic and need to go away, family or not. Also some parents let problems go on far too long.

His family probably tried to talk some sense into him. But he was to immature and infatuated with Kim to realize that they were only telling him for his own good. He'll wake up when she drains all his money and they are in the poor house together with all those kids to support.

I wish these guys would stop jumping

That's really sad. I thought they seemed nice and accepting at the wedding.

I think Kroy made that decision on his own...he's quite opinionated & hard headed too! Obviously there is a LOT that the cameras missed or left out for some reason!!

Sometimes parents are right whether or not we want to see it in the moment. I cut my mom out for a brief period because she hated my ex-boyfriend. I'm not saying I agree with the way she handled things, but in the end, she was right. Sometimes it just takes distance and perspective. Anyone in their right mind would take one look at Kim and say, "run for the hills, son."

This is my first time seeing this show. I really don't get it. I thought it would be about getting ready for a wedding. It seems to be about a narcissistic and her rich husband. WTF.

The first show was Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding. Now it's just Don't Be Tardy... in general I guess. Just trying to hang onto that song she made Don't Be Tardy for the Party.

"... and I am unanimous in that!"- Mrs. Slocombe

Ok thanks. It wouldn't be to bad to watch if she didn't throw the F bomb all the time.

She was originally on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' and got her own spin-off called 'Don't Be Tardy for the Wedding', which chronicled her and Kroy getting married. Now that they are married and the show is successful it's just 'Don't Be Tardy'

I actually like Kim's song, don't be tardy for the party and it's funny how it went from being an awful country & western song to a pop song. I can imagine how funny it would've been had the orig. version of the song been released. LOL

I totally understand that Kroy's family had reservations about Kim when they first got together. However, after it became obvious that they were more than a fling, Kroy's parents were stubborn and spiteful to not get past it. Kim and Kroy have beautiful children- children that Kroy's parents will never know and love. That is just sad. Their loss...
