Kin has a degree in nursing. Once upon a time she did work.

No, she does not have a degree in nursing. Kim was an LPN, which is not the same as an RN (registered nurse). An LPN requires about one year of training. RNs usually have at least a two or four-year degree, most of the ones I know have a BS in nursing. I don't diminish LPNs, but it's not the same thing as being an RN.
