Another game with Connor

Who else wants to continue Connor's story? His ending was so sad and he's still young so there are many possibilities. It could have William Miles in the animus. But I think we need a break from AC so it should be released in 2014-15.

Yeah I'd be happy with another Connor game... I disagree about the need for a break though hahaha!

Connor was such a weak and uninteresting protagonist (not to mention that the actor portraying the role sounded like he was reading the phone book - I've heard better line reading in amateur porn) so I'd like the inevitable sequel to focus on someone else. Why not a female character next time?

I don't see how he's weak and uninteresting. I found his story very heartbreaking. Every part of his story has been incredibly rough. He devoted his life to freedom so much and he lost everything. He lost his mother, he was forced to kill his best friend and father (even though he wanted to come to terms with him), his allies betrayed him, his village vacated and his mentor died. He's just left all alone.

As for the voice acting, he sounded fine in the cut scenes the only time where it's a bit monotone is when he's doing the homestead missions but it suits the character I think. Also English is his second language.

Forgot to mension that his village people pretty much left the land after America got it's independence, the thing that Conner fought most of his life (Well between 15-40ish) for. And realising that America wan't infact to be a land of freedom for everyone, as stated throughout the whole War (Seeing the Blacks up for slavery when the British were leaving).

I would be for another Connor game, however ACIII covered the whole Revolutionary War so theres not much in terms of American History to cover after Conners events. I mean theres the Civil War that takes place 90 years afterwards which is no possibility for Connor to be able to take part in.

I did mention that.

My bad

That was only the case when speaking in Idaho, because the Idaho language is like that.

When speaking in English it was good, direct, understandable and had some charisma in it.

Not sure there would be a sequel with Connor since his ties is gone with Desmond, an AC4 is a possible, they have left AC3 to the point where it can be finished if Ubisoft have poor sales, if great sales they can carry on with a new main character, probably a sister or brother to Desmond.

But it would be the last AC game if a 4th was released, as it would be essentially close to both timelines.

And because of the huge jump in time frame from Ezio > Connor, they can easily go 20th Century and World War 1 or 2 setting, a ruined France in WW2 would be a good place to be an assassin, and could be female and French and be part of the resistance.

I don't want to see any more of Connor. His story is done. His story is sad I guess, but theres not much more he can do. He no longer possesses any pieces of Eden so it makes no snese for him to be focused on anymore. If he somehow got his hands on another one, it would seem contrived. He got his message from the crystal ball, and then it disintegrated, that really signals that his part in the story is done. He is no Ezio. He lacks the charisma to carry a series for three games.

He's not as charismatic as Ezio but that doesn't necessarily mean he's a worse character. I think he will be fine in his own trilogy. They can show the consequences of his actions and how he can grow and mature as a character. I like all assassins equally for their individuality and uniqueness.

Suppose IF there was another Conner game, then he would of learnt his lesson by now and stick more closely with the Assassin Order, ACIII he moreso left the Assassin's value out to focus on fighting for Americas Independence, completely forgetting about the Templars influence.

Oh and throw a few more Assassinations in?

reply

Snanay, I guess Connor was weak and uninteresting to you ,because he wasn't going around jumping in the sack with every Italian girl in every corner of Italy.

Connor was a great character and a far better assassin then Ezio, Some of you say Connor's story was heart breaking but then again which other of the assassin's story wasn't heart breaking? You make it sad as if Connor is moping around, feeling sorry for himself over the wrongs in his life. He is tough and strong willed, He handled Achilles death rather well, and he still has his homestead and the people living on the land who love and care for him, His people are still alive even though they have moved.

Don't say we need a break from Assassin's Creed, never that. and the way this game ended, We need another one. ASAP!! You'd think after 3 years in the making this game would have been longer and a more explosive ending. I love this game, but I have my concerns.

Keep in mind that Connor is set to kill Washington in 1799, which may make any further storylines somewhat difficult to construct. Would be incredibly awkward to have a sequel that takes place before the original game even ended. Would be even more awkward for the second game in his series to show him as a 60 year old man.

Who said he is set to kill George Washington? How do we know that?

There are many other places, they can go with him, And his storyline still feels pretty premature at the end of ACIII, We know his work is not yet done.

I thought Philadelphia was in this game, Charles Lee died there, would have made sense if Connor would have traveled there to kill him, and did some missions for Ben Franklin there.

reply

There's nothing premature about his story line. He literally buried his connection to the series in the end. His tribe moved away, the crystal ball disintegrated. There's nothing left for him to do.

Sure it is still.
