And Nichelle is so lovely. It's nice to have supportive friends.

Walter seemed pathetic and depressed to me. I liked the doc though. Interesting and gay.

Walters son committed suicide a few years ago

How nice to call someone pathetic. And naturally he's depressed, his son committed suicide. Mental illness often has a genetic component. Maybe depression runs in the family. Either way, things certainly couldn't have been easy in that family.

Walter looked like he was envious that George was still relevant and he's been long forgotten.

I think it was a combination of all these things. I think he is envious of him and is pretty amazed that he has kept his career going but I also believe he was proud of him and is happy about his fame. It's pretty supportive of him to come to his musical..I'm sure he could have said no. I don't think his jealousy comes from a negative place. You can tell he cares about him as a friend but wishes he had the determination, energy and charm George has that makes people love him.
