One of the Best Lines in Movie History!

I almost fell of the chair laughing! Had to stop and go back to make sure I heard it right:

Oh, different mothers.

They grew up on different sides of the country.

Their father was the Johnny Appleseed of sperm.

This should go down in movie quote history!

This wasn't really a line, but the dramatic sequence when Terrence Stamp goes through the procedure of removing the fake outer layer of the painting to reveal the real painting underneath, which turns out to be an even lamer, more pointless painting of a clown.

For some reason that one totally cracked me up.

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

I didn't get it. I still don't get it. What's the relevance of Johnny Appleseed and widely spread sperm? I tried learning about Johnny Appleseed in Wikepedia and it didn't really do it for me. Perhaps I'll just try google again. Perhaps you have to be aware of North American expressions.... I just LOVED this movie though!

Johnny Appleseed traveled around planting apple seeds. The joke was that their dad got around.

right, and that's why I didn't think the line was that funny.
It's so obvious to call him, "The Johnny Appleseed of sperm".

This movie had a lot of jokes like that that could have been very funny, but the lines weren't that well written, imo.
