A film so bad it's actually really bad!

I always have high expectations when watching a Kevin Costner movie because I like him a lot. But his recent movies have hugely disappointed me. This one in particular - huge disappointment! For a start, the cast is poorly selected. Ethan's (Kevin's) daughter Zooey does not look like her parents at all - she's brunette with black eyes, while the parents - Kevin Costner and his wife in the film - are blond(e) with blue eyes. What was the cast director thinking when they chose her to portray the daughter? Plus, she acts like a total brat and is very insufferable. Second of all, the plot is a completely unrealistic mess - dying-of-cancer American CIA agent starts working for hot-babe CIA ex agent in Europe in exchange for an experimental cancer-curing drug, whilst trying to recuperate his ex-wife and daughter, and witnessing the tale of a black family who squatted his apartment. WHAT?! Who came up with that story? Overall, the film is trying SO HARD to be interesting for the watcher, but it fails miserably for it's very predictable and painful to watch throughout.

It is difficult to believe that major movie stars have to make films this bad.

It's a silly action movie but a lot of fun. Not anymore as preposterous as any other Hollywood movies of this year

The thing is...it actually had some decent elements but destroyed itself with mindless stupidity. And for seemingly no reason. Cars don't go off of bridges, crash to the concrete way below, and then have the occupants just walk out and even run as if nothing had happened. Same with people crashing down in elevators. And the list, unfortunately, goes on and on.
